The international symposium on polymer physics (PP) was first held in 1993, co-launched by Professor Renyuan Qian, one of the founders of polymer physics in China, and Professor Lianghe Shi (China), Professor Shaw-ling Hsu (USA) and Professor Masamichi Kobayashi (Japan). Since then, this symposium has been organized every two years, and now it is a major event for polymer science community. In the latest three successful symposiums, PP’2012 (Chengdu), PP’2014 (Nanjing) and PP’2016 (Guiyang), about 400 polymer scientists were getting together from the world to exchange knowledge and discuss the recent progresses on polymer physics.

It is our great pleasure to announce that the 13th International Symposium on Polymer Physics (PP’2018) will be held in Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province, China, on Jun. 11-15, 2018. PP’2018 is co-organized by the State Key Laboratory of Polymer Physics and Chemistry in ICCAS (China), University of Akron (USA), Max-Planck Institute for Polymer Research (Germany) and University of Tokyo (Japan).

We are looking forward to meeting you in Xi’an!
